The Least Practiced and Most Important Part of scoring in this ever complex game is Chipping & Putting. In this edition of our Golf Tips, we have quoted Tom Watson & Golf Digest to share with you some valuable help in these two aspects of the game.

Chipping -- The easiest way to improve your chipping is to remember to start with your weight on the left side and maintain your weight on the left side throughout the shot. With your weight forward and braced against a solid left side, you will strike the ball with the proper downward blow and hit it crisply. This will also help eliminate the wrists from breaking down.

Putting -- Bend over more at the neck so the eyes are looking straight down at the ball -- many of us have the tendency to look out over our noses too much while addressing a putt. Have a friend check your eyes when you are over the ball to see if you are looking straight down, or, while working on the putting green, take a ball and drop it from between your eyes until you can land it on the ball that you are going to putt.

Develop a Pre-Shot Routine and Stick To It -- First it turns off your conscious mind, which if active disrupts your ability to hit a solid shot. Second, it gets you focused on the target and nothing else.
